Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
This policy explains how LUMOS.CODES LTD ("Lumos", "we") processes personal data collected through https://lumos.codes. We are the data controller. Registered office: 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, United Kingdom, HA4 7AE. Contact: info@lumos.codes.
What we collect
- Case intake form: name, work email, company/project name, review topic, product stage, preferred call time, budget range, message, links to materials, and Telegram/WhatsApp handle if you provide one.
- Campaign attribution: UTM parameters, the referring page, and the landing page of your visit, attached to a form submission so we know how you found us.
- Analytics (with your consent): Google Analytics 4 usage data. We use Google Consent Mode; analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Booking data: if you book a call via Calendly, Calendly processes the details you enter under its own privacy policy.
Why we process it
- To respond to your product case review request and prepare for the call — legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (f)).
- To measure site and campaign performance — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To maintain security and prevent abuse (spam filtering) — legitimate interest.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to our team via Amazon Web Services (SES email, Lambda) and a Telegram notification to the Lumos team chat. We use AWS infrastructure to host this site. We do not sell personal data. Processors involved: AWS, Google (Analytics, only with consent), Calendly (if you book), Telegram (delivery of the internal notification).
Some processors may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Lead and correspondence data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we enter a contract (then for the duration of the engagement plus statutory periods). Analytics data follows the GA4 retention setting (14 months).
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies are optional and controlled by the consent banner — you can change your choice at any time via the "Preferences" option in the banner. Declining analytics does not affect the site.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing by emailing info@lumos.codes. You can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
